Drilling Permits for July have seen a slight increase in the United States with a small slip in the Rocky Mountain region but large gains in the Appalachian region.

(Rigdata) The Appalachian Region Count for last week was 252, prior week total was 152. This year's four week average is 226 compared to year ago four week average of 350 permits.
