Sometimes its hard to imagine what numbers actually look like. We found a video that helps put the recent spill into perspective. From the article:
By one estimate, about 5,000 barrels of oil are spilling into the Gulf of Mexico from the BP well damaged in an April 20 explosion. For those of us trying to wrap our heads around how much oil that is, a San Francisco architect came up with this nifty model.
