Top 40 U.S. Natural Gas Producers

The top 40 natural gas producers in the U.S. have been ranked by the Natural Gas Supply Association (NGSA) based on published company figures.

U.S. Natural Gas Production by Company – June 2011

In June of 2011, the EIA reported the U.S. produced 69 Bcf per day. The top 40 companies in the following list produced over 32 Bcf per day or 46% of the total on a net basis. If you uplift production by 20% for royalties and fuel loss, you get a conservative estimate of 40 Bcf per day or 58% of total U.S. production from the following companies:
